Shi Mei - Gelsenkirchen

Shi mei is a free buffet restaurant so it's not something very picky or extravagant. are two very large rooms and of course there is a little noise but compared to other restaurants of that kind is not a problem. There are more than 20 dishes already prepared with shrimp, fish, meat and vegetables (high quality, fantastic flavor) and a barbecue. dozens of meat types are offered (including specialties such as crocodile) mussels almenas crab shrimp and all kinds of vegetables. Sometimes in restaurants like this, the meat is killed in the baroque but not here. for kids there are fries and other things. the dessert buffet is huge and includes fruits, cakes, creams; ice cream and a chocolate plume. is paid less than 15 euros. if I wanted a romantic night like one in the comments you wouldn't visit a restaurant like that but perfect with friends, family and children

This restaurant offers like all the other china restaurants normal buffet and Mongolian buffet. the ambiente is completely chic. the service was very friendly. the quality of the food could be better. especially at dessert (obst)

For me personally one of the best chinabuffet in gelsenkirchen and around. the selection is huge and everything is very appealing. who likes Chinese buffet only to recommend. the only negative is the size when it is very full it is already very loud in the restaurant.

I've been passing by "shi mei" more often and thought with each time "no, that doesn't look very inviting," unfortunately the impression of m.M.n and her friends confirmed. the spatialities have a very full and pressing effect, and the amount of people there have been squealing for a long time and there were still some tables free. Here counts the divise "quantity instead of quality", there is a great choice at the buffet (except dessert, there is too little) but accordingly it has also tasted or not tasted, meat was for example either too long fried or too little. we were not even asked for new drinks during our entire stay and we had to wait about 20 minutes for the bill. the only thing that has remained in memory to us is the grapes with cheese!

Very rich buffet huge qualitatiw good to very well lacked that some food at the Chinese buffet would not be really hot but very good taste.The Mongolian was consistently very good.I still have to highlight the dessertecke cake, even soft ice cream fruit and even a chocolate fountain simply great.
