Contribute FeedbackWhen in the evening in a social round, e.g. after the sport lesson, the question emerged where you can eat in hostesses and drink a little more (or even a little more), in the past we have often chosen the club place of SV Glück Auf Altenstadt. For years it had a Greek tenant, and in all these years we were never disappointed by a return from this place. We were always kindly received and served by the boss and the staff, and the food was not a star or event kitchen (not necessarily expected from a club restaurant), but always freshly prepared and tastefully very good. So recommended. At the beginning of the year the long-term renters (unfortunately) had announced, but it was very far lately. The successor, again a Greek, made himself out of the dust almost overnight after a short time, so that the SV Glück Auf Altenstadt stood there for a few months without a tenant for his club. On August 1, 2015 the reopening took place after a German-Italian couple could be found by the association as a new tenant. It is therefore no longer offered Greek, but German and Italian cuisine. Together with some friends, my wife was curious how the new couple of tenants will present themselves a few days after the reopening in the club restaurant. And it was – unfortunately – quite disappointing. It started when the place was entered. Instead of being received with a friendly welcome greeting as in the past, a loudly strong sack of the boss already hit the lady at the entrance door. Apparently, he had something to do that went out of service, and made his immutation very loud to her. Instead of turning around, my wife and her friends swallowed the economy a few times. In retrospect, you would probably have left this because the quality of the dishes left their mood even further. The salad my wife had as an appetizer was good. He looked fresh, the salad sauce was tastefully satisfactory, so everything is acceptable. My wife had ordered Rigatoni al Forno as the main court. The noodles were cooked hard (old dente), so it is true. However, the tomato sauce was disappointing: no taste, no aroma of fresh herbs nothing, only boring and the impression of a finished product of the discounter was impressive. However, the “creation” was the cheese. This could easily be removed in one piece and had no binding to the sauce or the Rigatoni. Just as if two or three cheese slices were placed at the end, and the whole thing was quickly pushed into the oven for a few (a few) minutes, so that the cheese still runs a little. Besides my wife, another companion had ordered a noodle dish and came to the same small flattering taste judgment. Both gave up after half. The demand of the service, whether the rest pack for the take, both fell grateful. Some ladies had ordered a pizza. But also here the same judgment: unloved and above all no taste. Dead boring! Conclusion: There is no lack of pizzerias in hostages. There's another one. However, it does not represent an enrichment for local gastronomy with the one offered tonight.
