That was a beautiful hike to the prestholtseter! it was quite easy through the whole staircase up and back and fourth it is a quite short walk. we saw rainbows,... read more That was a beautiful hike to the prestholtseter! it was quite easy through the whole staircase up and back and fourth it is a quite short walk. we saw rainbows, beautiful clouds and the suns, all they need. we also have so many sheep and goats on the way, but I would recommend blowing plastic bags to put their shoes at the end of the hike. so you car doesn't smell like goats.

It was surprising to meet Nepalese workers at such a remote location. it was very rewarded to climb up their stairs. great view! the owner of the prestholtseter... read more It was surprising to meet Nepalese workers at such a remote location. it was very rewarded to climb up their stairs. great view! the owner of the prestholtseter was friendly and they can have a beautiful seat in the old farmhouse to observe the goats with a coffee and a selection of traditional Norwegian dresses. we asked the owners to camp outside and his answer was that it was like 10,000 km2 area: they find a nice place. we had here an amazing experience of wildcamping in hallingskarvet np with a few sheep as the only neighbors.
