What Johannes Hübner doesn't like about Zeus:
Reserved for 7 persons to Gambas for sattessen after a waiting period of approx. 1.5 hours were served 2 plates of Gambas (at least 7 plates are necessary for sattessen for 7 people). Quality of the dish was weak, probably the gambas was only thrown in the frits oil. After a further waiting period of one hour, the friendly waiter served us a fish plate with Pangasius and squid. (completely inedible) I never go back View all feedback.

On the last night of my Christmas visit in the Lower Saxony, Mutti spontaneously invited to dinner. I don't know about the Greeks in Hesepe, as they say. It's delicious! Now you have to know that the Emsland village of Klein Hesepe has been a little laughed for years and days because there is nothing there. You would not miss it yourself as a resident of the deeply snowy Siberian tundra. The neighboring village of Groß Hesepe is similar. Yes, we in the Emsland have it a bit small and big. The Greek restaurant, in which Mutti invited, is now called Zeus, when I set it up a few months ago without being there, it was called Mykonos . Why the name was changed, I don't know, the owners/operators who work here very friendly and pleasantly in the service are the same as before, according to my mam. The head of the house greeted us with family dog Isa also directly after entering the restaurant and gave us a table. I'm admittedly not a fan of, I like to look for myself where I want to sit. But he made it absolutely nice with a wide smile on his lips. I did not find the table assigned to us very great, but unfortunately the entire interior of the restaurant has not really promised me. I lacked the cosiness I know from most Greek restaurants completely. The main guest room in which we were placed is quite large and illuminated for my feeling too bright, there are some large table groups and lots of empty space in the middle and Greek-running through any decoration, the whole is only marginal. Too bad. There are few smaller seating options that are more comfortable, but they are directly opposite the bar and at the entrance/outdoor. Isn't the perfect location now... Apart from a family with about 700 children we were the only guests early in the evening and were able to serve us on the completely freshly equipped Greek buffet, which was offered by the boss instead of the standard card and my parents were delighted. So I can't say anything about card, selection and prices, would really like to have looked in. The buffet, which is always offered on Friday night, costs €16.90 per head, which I find too expensive to say in advance. But the selection is overwhelming! Only the possibilities of compiling his appetizer salad themselves were great cinema! Krautsalat (definitively self-made, absolutely great!! , tomato/mozzarella and tomato/Feta (the latter very spicy, ergo tasty, filled wine leaves, various other self-made salads that all looked great, peperoni to me neat rage, self-made tsatsiki (grandios!!!, uvm. A great selection! And this goes on with the main dishes: there are, if I have counted correctly, ten different variations of meat alone. I tried the Gyros (just salty, but I liked it, I thought it was great! , turkey fillet in cream sauce (I'm afraid too dry and chop steak in tomato sauce (maybe a little more juicy, too). Meat I'll try again. In addition, pommes, croquettes (me me and rice with tomato sauce, the latter was very good, but unfortunately there were some peas in there and I don't like the Viechers. It's a long story. At the end, Dad and I still gave us a dessert, he was a chocolate-lady, I strawberry jar with chocolate sprinkles, both very fresh and tasty. I don't need it anymore, but I want to try it. It was a good idea. Of course, before and after eating, there is an ouzo on the house and the one there is is superb! In itself, I have been avoiding this stuff since a small incident on Crete like the devil's holy water, here I would like to have another one. Or five. And if I order a big fanta here, I also get the desired 0.5l size and no 0.33l bullshit. Thanks for that! There's a bowling alley here, but it's just on the edge. My first visit hasn't convinced me so much, but only three stars would really not be right. And since I'm still talking about self-made herbalate and Tsatsiki, it's four. And I like to come over again!
