Before attending a concert at Costa Hall we dined at the Waterfront Kitchen which is opposite Cunningham Pier. It was a lovely spot, the staff were friendly and attentive. This was a busy night with concert goers wanting to eat. Our waitress arrived promptly with menus and water, she returned after not a long wait and we ordered. She answered any questions we had of the menu and wine and was knowledgeable of the prod... View all feedback.
What Rhett Quigley doesn't like about Waterfront Kitchen:
A nice spot if you feel like looking out over Corio Bay. At our last breakfast here the computers were down which caused havoc and because a market was inside there was a half hour wait on coffees !! The food is ok, a typical menu. Coffee is good. View all feedback.
Falling for breakfast while waiting for the graduation of the daughters. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive and has even ensured that the timing of our coffee job is perfectly matched to the arrival of our food. Poached eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and delicious.
Came only for drinks and cakes, ordered Tuebler cheesecake, it was good, but not enough toblerone taste, ice chocolate was nice, but too sweet, hot chocolate was too sweet, and the coffee was okay, overall it was in Order, but it has not tried her food the view is good, although you see from the seating outdoors, you could see that the helicopter was flying away .. and your service was good too.
Flavorsome breakfast at the Waterfront Kitchen in Geelong. Thoroughly enjoyed my $17 cheese & mushroom omelette this morning, the mushrooms were just so well cooked & had an absolutely beautiful flavour - really hit the spot. I found the staff attentive & very friendly. The atmosphere was bright & cheery and "a buzz" with customers. I enjoyed it so much I'll be returning in due course for more of the same. We arrived at an awkward time where we couldn't decide to have breakfast or lunch. the menu changed over to lunch in 15 mins. Staff informed us that we could choose from either. Mael sizes were plentiful.Coffee was perfect.Staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere in a very old and historic building.
A colleague and I frequent this cafe almost weekly as our 'office away from the office'.The space is wonderful with lots of options, lovely light and while it's got a great buzz it's never noisy. The staff are incredible - warm and attentive. There are lots of very affordable food options (hot and cold) and the coffee is great.Definitely a venue to visit while at the waterfront. No pretence, very family friendly and great for business meetings. A lovely space all round.
