On an escorted visit arranged by MPRG (Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery) we travelled via ferry and coach to view the Archibald Exhibition at Geelong Art Gallery this week and enjoyed a delicious fish 'n chip lunch on the waterfront arriving at 2pm was laster than originally planned but staff were so efficient and welcoming and provided prompt service. Very slow service. Waited an hour for meals. Meals were not bought together. Food is poor quality and not fresh. Spoke to the owner who told us he would 'think about it '. Do yourself a favour and walk past this place! View all feedback.
My favourite cafe/restaurant on Geelong's waterfront - sit outside and watch the world go by whilst eating really great food. Generous portions and a very nice selection of wines from both local & international vineyards. Have eaten here at all times of day and have never failed to find something delicious on the menu.
Waited 15-20 minutes longer than they originally said and came out with a bunch of soggy ****. Would rather not eat than deal with them again. Huge rip off, paid $50 for food that barely fed me and two friends. Disgusted.
We ordered 2 x surf and turf meals ($35 each) and a prawn platter ($29) to share as an entree with wine. Prawns were presented on ice with a side salad and seafood sauce-bowls were provided for shells and a hand bowl with lemon and water. Tasted clean, fresh and firm- very pleased. Surf and turf was a porterhouse steak with a seafood marina mix on top of the steak, 2 larger prawns and 3 mussels in their shell. Meat was tender and well cooked. Marinara was also well done and not overpoweringly dressed. Protein was served with fresh veggies. A beautiful meal and the service was endearing- two younger servers who could not do enough to help. Total bill was $130 (including 4 glasses of Moscarto). I would visit again.
Very pleased with the service and quality of food- price very reasonable too. So many Gluten and dairy options! Wish we lived locally!
We were so hungry and couldn't fault this restaurants food.We had fish and chips, coffee and cake and couldn't fault it!
