Quiet and relaxed atmosphere made for a great evening. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They were there when you needed them but did not push you to order. The meal was very tasty and satisfying. I had not been there before so was very happy with the overall experience. I would recommend it to anyone wanting an enjoyable evening. View all feedback.
What Travis Moore doesn't like about Black Salt:
Went there on recommendation but was unfortunately dissaponted. One dish out of three courses was outstanding (duck) & the rest were hit & miss. One main (boar) could not even be finished. Wine list is good, venue is nice & our waiter was delightful but it was very expensive for what it was and we wont be going back for dinner anytime soon. First major dissapointment in our Geelong foodies adventure. View all feedback.
Food was tasteful, but way too expensive. The menu was minimal. They were extremely busy and the service was ordinary. We had to ask for a wine list which took a good ten minutes to be delivered after we were seated, and one meal (steak) came out after the rest of the table had nearly finished their meals. Won't be going back
We had a group dinner here on a Saturday night, as we stay at the motel overlooking the sea. Grief Grief To be fair, I would like to point out that the management may have been offset guests for half an hour apart. Grief Grief From the beginning we have ordered drinks, and the Pinot had 3 prices $ 11, 17 US dollars and a bottle for 50 US dollars. The measure between small and large was the words on the glass black salt, which wrote a word on the other. I never ever had $ 17 for S 'normal' size glass from Pinot !!!! Grief We waited until our table arrived from 10 before ordering. 5 of 10 entered entrees and they arrived at all other times. Grief Grief The people who ordered nets had to wait for more than 90 minutes due to multiple mistakes from the kitchen. The kitchen has completely misunderstood it. They sent small instead of great size, and two Whitebait discoveries arrived at our table, meant for another. Then a waiter came with a sequence of mushrooms to our table, meant for another table. Chaos! Grief Grief After all, if that asked if there was some bread, we could wwn, where we have been waiting for the 90 minutes! No! Only garlic bread from the menu !!!! Finally, our network (almost almost) all came out of a lady and that arrived when everyone else was done. Grief Grief I have to say that I eat on average 2 nights a week and the pork Knuckle was the worst article I've ever tried. I could not eat it! It was huge and it was farmless !!!! The square was simply red cabbage that had been slightly sautéed. Grief Grief The others reported their food as follows: Beef Stoganoff - very common Atlantic salmon - very common Anti-pasta plate - sufficient with plenty of meat. Grief Calimari - Strange Combination of Chorizo and Calimari Grief Some of those who were ready to sit on the ordered desert - after the inedible pork ankle, which was covered with my napkin, I went. The Pavlova looked very nice. Grief Grief I have to say that the Wait staff were those who glued the stain for the poor kitchen service! They were apologetic. Grief This kitchen has many problems where you can work! Grief Grief I drove the breakfast as this is part of the hotel. Grief Grief Grief

Great food. I had the scallops to the entrance. Perfectly cooked with great puree and thin bacon pieces. Moroccan chicken breast for Main. Moist and juicy with crispy skin. Good meal even with big companions. The staff was real and attentive. I would definitely visit again to try a big variety on the menu.
