Pakington Strand Fish & Chips

It is fish and chips done well at an affordable price.

I have ordered from various food delivery services multiple times, but I have never experienced a two-hour delay like I did with this restaurant. When I called to inquire about the late delivery, I was told to contact the food delivery service with my complaint. If I hadn't already paid at the time of ordering, I would have refused to accept the delivery. The food arrived lukewarm to cold, with soggy chips, and the delivery driver tried to deflect blame by saying it wasn't their fault. This is by far the worst restaurant to order from, and I will never order from them again.

Fresh fish and chips cooked in fresh oil. Food is cooked fresh. Fish batter is not thick, just right, and chips are nicely cooked. Potato cakes are the best, real sliced potato, not the fake stuff that other places serve. Well recommended 9/10

I spent nearly $50 on a family meal and was extremely disappointed. The burgers had burnt patties, making it impossible for my children to eat them. The chips were also terrible, mostly consisting of off cuts and burnt pieces. Overall, the experience was awful.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with fresh ingredients used in their delicious 'Souvlaki'. You usually don't have to wait too long for your order. I would recommend passing on the potato cakes if you prefer a great potato dish.
