Excellent food deals, offered, offer many vegetarian / vegan alternatives and excellent service from waiters who were exceptionally inviting and would like to show me their vegetarian dishes! Live the Tofu mugs and steamed herbal dumplings - are tried back to the larger plates. View all feedback.
What Tyshawn Luettgen doesn't like about Mr Umami's:
Cudos to the chefs first! Absolutely spectacular food!
However, the staff suck and were rude and hurried out! Everything because the waitress has spilled a drink and the crib said it was us! Grief
Would not recommend! Could definitely find a better place! View all feedback.
Pretty disappointing as a whole. Came for a while and it was great, but the quality seems to have taken a dive. Grief The drunk duck and the stunning chicken were dry and tasteless and had very little meat on them. Massaman curry and dumplings were not bad, but not for the others. Grief The service was really good, but the food was also overpriced. Good choice of beers. Grief
Yumm !! Sadly please do not open Mondays or I would be much more there. Grief Tasty fresh food with lots of taste. Grief Attentive staff, which is super helpful, with questions that were thrown to them
My first time at Mr. Umamis and of everything I had heard, I was extremely excited and had high hopes for this place. The flavors in the food I thought was good overall, apart from our curry that was not very flavsome. On the negatives I start with the service. A word, horrible. I'm not sure if there was a problem in the kitchen, but our meals were completely staggered. There was 12 of us eating, 6 of us eats relaxed. After 20 minutes, 3 Entrees were served afterwards, then 3 networks. Then, after I wait 1 hour and 30 minutes and is still waiting for other appetizers, we asked how much longer. The lady then came back and asked us on what we had waited for it, then she told us that she had actually published us out of the Deproren, which we had after a one and a half hour holding position !!!!!! She asked us if we would like to be canceled by the bill? (Which, we did not get it that way, why would we pay for it). Then another waitress came out that she had heard a complaint of this table, and that we were actually only 1 hour 20 minutes for the food had not been waiting for a half. She asked us if we had had Asian food before? And went with the attitude, a simple sorry would have been nice. Grief Finally, 1.45 hours came out after the order of my Main (Massman Curry). And boy was hungry !! And unfortunately disappointed, the food was lukewarm and rather tasteless and I was still waiting for my side dish of coconut rice and rotary bread. At the time, the curry was still cold, how long does it take to cook rice and rotary bread? The rice was not coconut at all, rather simple rice and the Roti bread, burned to the sh * -douse and tasted like charcoal. Almost finished my home and network of my girlfriends arrived! One of my friends ordered a mild curry ... She chose 4 sliced chillies (not very mild when asking me). Another friend ordered a fish curry, there was a touch of fish because the rest was flooded with half BOK choys. At this time we were the only table in the restaurant, we ate on Tuesday evening ... I wonder how long we would have to wait for a Friday or Saturday night. Do not return to return. As a regular dinner on the Beinington Street, I crossed this one off.

Love it, but be willing to pay for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the aesthetics, service and food in this Nifty Wee Establishment. However, the price day was quite serious, the size of the services. However, if no money is, and you are looking for a chin-chin-easter experience in the G-Town, then down
