This place definitely hits my top five for coffee in Geelong They serve bonsoy A friendly environment that seats around 25-30 people max, so you best go in the quieter times. The bagels are very good, with your choice of deluxe toppings or just some classic spreads the staff are always friendly and service is pretty fast, so even if there are no available tables, you really won't have to wait that long. The preparatio... What User doesn't like about Geelong West Social Club:
Sure it might be supper hip for the younger ubbers during the week but it does not have the most comfortable of chairs or seats for a Saturday leisurely breakfast. And, the music is highly variable ranging from reggae (must be their parents' music) through to the terrible rap hip-hop menace accompanied by the strongest of swearing - not good in a cafe which wants to entice mums and dads with younger folk in tow...The... Excellent small café. Today stopped for lunch and had a Vietnamese Banh Mi on a bagel! Delicious and delicious. Excellent coffee and friendly service. I like the free foam water on the tap.
We ordered coffee, muesli and the Smasho Bagel for weekend breakfast. The food was good, like the coffee. The ambience was beautiful. The café is little with limited seating - we were on the common table on the back. The staff was very friendly,...the regular - not so much to the non-registers - we got our own menus after ten minutes and order had to wait until conversations had. But generally, good. A beautiful place for coffee and bagels in Geelong West.
I don't know how it happened to me. A little hidden, but very popular. Most importantly, coffee is a busy takeaway coffee scene. The menu is based on Bagels, but with a lot of variety. I enjoyed the fragile special. Love the ****.

The preparation part is an open view behind the counter, so I enjoy watching the bagels. A nice breakfast for two for about 25-30 dollars, how can you complain?!
It is hard to go past this little shop when the aroma of fresh coffee hits the nose. Such good coffee. This morning there was a table of four doing a jigsaw, another group chatting while we savoured our brew. No rush, an easy ambience...and pleasant staff. Whenever we visit Geelong we make sure we stop here.
