After a nice meal and a bottle of wein (shiraz) with friends we sat and thought, as it would still be relatiw early, we would like to say another glass wein only, we could not have shiraz only merlot or melbec as they did. not do shiraz through the glass. the price difference between all three bottles was just 25p, so could not understand after 15 minutes the bar manager came to say that he had spoken to his chef, and it would be okay to open a bottle and to us 2, big glasses to which we have accepted! but we feel why have a bar manager who cannot make a simple decision to keep their customers happy in these uncertain times!!! .

Very enjoyed all service exceptional, atmosphere warm and friendly. our food was delicious and not overpriced! many thanks for a nice destination to our walk to epperstone!

We had chicken skewers the chicken was warm and watery like not cooked long enough The salad was soggy not crisp Really disappointed only thing edible was the chips
