Tucked away from the bustling high street, this charming pub boasts a genuine atmosphere and a friendly staff that's been a hit with locals since its opening. The selection of real ales and hearty toasties invites patrons to unwind and enjoy a cozy setting. Yet, recent hygiene concerns, particularly regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms and tables, have raised alarms among loyal customers. While the welcoming staff and communal vibe remain strong assets, it’s essential for the management to address these basic sanitation issues to ensure the pub continues to be a cherished local spot.
We visited with my family and friends, some visiting from Italy Paolo Ileana) that wanted to take part at a live Irish folk music session. We had the best time, and the staff was very friendly. We can’t wait to come back. Great pub, a gem. Luca
Great pub with great, friendly staff. Very very dog friendly with dog treats on the bar instead of peanuts. Might be a bit loud on rock night for my luna but definitely my pub of choice for a lunchtime meal and a pint with man's best friend
I spent 40 minutes waiting for a pint of Hood, shocking service. It eventually arrived and was left on the table in protest
I use to visit this pub quite regularly as it was my local. A proper pub with a friendly atmosphere. However will never step foot in there again after my wife, myself and friend were verbally abused by a member of staff and her friend. Shocking behaviour that reflects poorly on Lincoln green
Nice cosy pub. Good beer. Friendly staff. Quite close to where I live, about 15 minutes walk. I tend to sample the Archers which is a nice light hoppy beer.
