I visited this restaurant last night, marking my second visit in the past few weeks. The food is delicious, and the manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Bombay has become my new favorite Indian restaurant.
If you want to experience a Karen type of restaurant then visit the Bombay Brasserie. You will not be dissapointed by the incredibly ignorant and rude floor manager who has no patience and wants to order your food for you while at the same time was so condescending and patronising that he reducing a party guest to tears. When complaining about the attitude to another manager it was a shrug the shoulder and no apology offered. Needless to say we all got up and left. If we'd have wanted a Karen experience we would have gone to a Karen's restaurant. We will not be going back to this restaurant again and seriously recommend to not visit.
Had a take away at the weekend from here and it was fantastic. I normally go to one of the other local places but ordered from her after a enjoying the food on a Christmas party. I highly recommend the chicken tikka shahi paneer. Its A sweet curry .
Disappointing. Food was very nice, dined in Thursday night spent over £200 and loved it. Ordered take away today and ordered scallops. When I got home saw they “didn’t have scallops, sorry” written on one of the boxes, so swapped it for chicken and gave me some pakoras I didn’t order. I collected in person, and paid there. Not a single mention, and they didn’t call me. I don’t eat meat so the chicken dish (which I now paid £9.75 for) has gone in the bin. Very poor customer service. All it would have taken would have been an email, call, or for them to talk to me. It costs nothing to talk to your customers. I would have been fully understanding. But to change my order without saying anything is completely unacceptable.
A friend of mine recommended this restaurant. He didn’t let me down. The food was delicious. The service was second to none, I was lucky enough to chat with the owner Abid. He told me the restaurant has been there for 21 years and I could see why, big menu, generous portions! The restaurant itself had a really nice atmosphere, everyone was enjoying themselves, I’ll be a regular here now Thanks guys 10/10
