Cherokee - Geary
Cherokee
Description
Nestled in a vibrant locale, this restaurant presents a mixed bag of experiences. While many patrons rave about the delicious, in-house prepared food and highlight the variety from breakfast to dinner, others have faced issues with service, including inattentive waitstaff and inadequate responses to concerns. The praised buffalo burger and standout onion rings contrast sharply with a few disappointing options and presentations. Meanwhile, the decor adds to the dining atmosphere, and reasonable prices enhance the appeal, especially with discounts available for local visitors. Overall, the establishment shows promise but requires consistency in service to elevate the dining experience.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times for breakfast, and it's always been delicious. However, I tried dinner for the first time and ordered a medium-rare sirloin. Unfortunately, it arrived well done and cold on both sides. I sent it back and requested it rare, but when it came back, it was medium-well. What a disappointment!
We had reservations at the KOA next door, so we decided to stop in for an early dinner. We both opted for the bison burger with onion rings, and they were quite delicious. The onion rings were crispy and perfectly golden brown. The burgers were nice, although the flavor of bison is a bit different from that of beef. It’s not bad, just unique. We would definitely order them again. As for parking, there’s plenty of space for an RV.
