Fabulous restaurant all around. We had the halibut ceviche, squash soup, beet salad, and pastries for dessert, and all was SO. GOOD. It has to be one of the best restaurants on the entire Oregon Coast, by far! Server was genuine and attentive. Loved the slightly quirky but not cheesy decor. Do not miss this place! What David Bowes doesn't like about Pacific Way Cafe Marketplace:
Disappointing. The service was miserable, the portions minuscule which was good as we hardly ate anything. Honestly, I am amazed and a little perplexed at the marvelous and wonderful 5 star reviews this restaurant gets on here, even under the ild ownership it wasn’t great but a lot better than this . The orange juice was good. View all feedback.
Quaint setting, and a unique menu and tasty food that would rival any Portland restaurant. The owner welcomed us and told us about the chef and the menu which was very much appreciated. We followed her recommendations. It was delicious. Note: you must have reservations as they do not take walk-ins.
This restaurant delivered a great experience! We had not been here in years. First, the owner came to our table, and gave us an overview of their chef, and their philosophy of their menu. A very classy nuance. She made several suggestions, which we followed. The carrots were amazing, and the duck was exceptional. The focasia bread was light and flavorful with a unique dip. The seafood pasta and steak were all great! We will definitely share this place with friends, and return often.
We enjoyed it here. It's fresh, seasonal, local food, on the beach, so we thought the price was fair. This is probably one of the top restaurants in town. We especially liked the wine here!
My husband and I spent a couple days in Gearhart for our anniversary and came here for dinner to celebrate the day of. This is a fine dining gem in a small cozy town! The food was amazing, super local and fresh, the menu well thought out, the plating beautiful. I was especially impressed with the duck breast, it was cooked perfectly with crispy rendered down skin. The staff were kind and attentive and even gave us a rose to celebrate the occasion.
Lovely owners and workers serving up delicious baked goods we took some pastries and coffee to go and sat by the water to enjoy them.
