I recently tried the Chicken Parmy at this restaurant and I must say, the meat was cooked to perfection. It was tender and juicy, and the chips were freshly made with just the right amount of oil. The portion size was large, enough to share between two people. I highly recommend this dish for brunch! View all feedback.
What Patience Boyer doesn't like about A Little Bit Different Cafe:
Booked for breakfast. Took 15 people there and it wasn’t open. If you can’t turn up on time, change your opening hours info on GMaps. The Bakery across the road did an amazing job. View all feedback.
Absolutely love the coffee there and food is delishious highly recommend stopping here the staff are friendly.
Easy to access, right in the centre of town. Fresh, tasty food. Great for vegetarians. Lovely service.
I stopped here for breakfast recently and to be honest I was a little disappointed. The cafe looked lovely and was very inviting with great decor. However it was so hot inside even though the aircon was on, so I chose to eat outside even though it was extremely hot and muggy outdoors.I had the poached eggs on toast and the eggs were served hard which I do not like. I suggest that you request soft/runny eggs if you prefer this as I do.Staff were very friendly which is big plus!
Downtown Gayndah isn't exactly inner city Melbourne or Brisbane (choice wise). The best choice for breakfast is this friendly little cafe. If only they would turn off the annoying doorbell infrared beam when anyone enters or leaves it would be a much more "relaxing" experience.
We were going to stop at another town for lunch, but being Christmas period there were no cafes open, so we continued to Gayndah. Found this cafe located opposite the court house. Was a little disappointed there was no ramp for wheelchair access, however the step is quite small and could probably be negotiated if taken slowly. They have a good variety of choices. My partner got the works burger and I got the chicken alfredo burger. The both came out quite quickly considering they were rather busy with customers. Both burgers would have been 6 inches in height and held together with a skewer (not easy to get it all in one mouthful). I deconstructed mine slightly. Both were lovely, with fresh crunchy salads on the burgers and a handful of chips on the side. The chicken was a large chicken ball filled with alfredo sauce - it will squirt when you bite into it. Neither of us had any complaints, the burgers were fantastic. The works was $13.50 and the chicken $11.There are tables and chairs inside or on the sidewalk and an enclosed area for children to play. If you are passing by, make sure you give this spot a go - yum.
