Gawler Palace Chinese Restaurant

We dined at this restaurant last night and it was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I do not recommend this place. I don't know how the Chinese cuisine could be so wrong. Originally posted on Gawler Palace Chinese Restaurant.

I ordered the Szechuan Chicken and it was absolutely spot on, best I have had in a couple of years. The wife ordered the chilli beef, which was very bland and lacking flavour, but mixed with my sauce was quite tasty. So overall not too bad and I think we will be back for a future Szechuan.

What a ripping feed of Chinese, brilliant! Drinks service was a bit average though, prices were up there for basically a take-away shop. Fairly good though thanks! Kev was good with his service cheers young lad! 0437 420 265

Was a really good trip back in time. We had soup, entrees and rice and loved every bite. Good size servings, moist satay and old fashioned Chinese flavours. Good comfort food on a cold night- good to see one eatery in Gawler that hasn't lowered its standards.
