Crash foam house not at all. dish of the eminced day of chicken has mustard with its not dry basmati rice at all. and their little Norman kir and the head's squirting a delight. the name of this little restaurant very well chosen!

Fortunately the main dish fish was good despite the rice too cooked. dessert announced cream burnt and served a cream with eggs. No cheese and salad. reading the reviews we thought we were having a great time and left disappointed for our sister who had saved us to offer this meal.

It tasted as goo... read more We are staying in a nearby Gite and looking for a good French meal. I had red mullet in tomato sauce which was the best starter in a long time. It tasted as good as it looked, and it looked good! The chef and the waitress were outstanding. We had an excellent evening. A great end to a fabulous week in Gavray.

Main was scallop... read more First time here on our week's stay at le mesnil garnier. Loved this food. Scallop special. Starter was carpaccio of scallops in Japanese sauce. Main was scallops with a selection of vegetables and all served with bread to dip in the sauces. Dessert and half bottle of wine and selection of coffees , we were full afterwards. The taste of the herbs and spices lasted. Just fantastic. So good. Will come again next year.
