Maremmana - GAVORRANO

Very nice views. However, we didn’t get to enjoy them. When we arrived they had a table for two set up with views, I asked if we could please sit here. The answer was that this table was already booked for someone not via TheFork. We arrived at 20:30 and left at 23:00 and the table was not used. Such a pity that they didn’t let us sit here. At least the drive would have been worth it. We ordered the fish menus. Starters and first plate were very tasty, the main course was grilled fish, it had no taste and was super oily. Maybe the other plates out of menu are better quality.

We really enjoyed this beautiful place. You have an amazing view on a Tuscan landscape. The service was good, especially when you arrive. The food was delicious, but a little bit too salty.

Fantastic food, lovely spot and a wonderful atmosphere. This place is a little gem and well worth visiting.

I wouldn’t recommend to go to this place. Really don’t understand why it’s mentioned in the Michelin guide. Food quality is low, we even got food poisoning. Service is crappy, no drinks where offered only when the food arrived, when I asked what kind of wine they had, it was just red or white. No choice. Super strange for such a expensive place. You would expect good food and service and a selection of wines. So never go to this place.

Excellent experience, highly recommendable! Nicely situated villa with an excellent Tuscan cuisine and its own vineyard with a high quality selection of wines!
