Good food, friendly staff, nice evening. Nearly full on a Wednesday evening. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. Even though it was busy, service was prompt and accurate. Highly recommended.

Despite the name, there is plenty of good wine to be had at this very popular and congenial local spot. They took us in without a reservation on a very busy Saturday night after we were turned away (politely) from another place that was fully booked. The menu was more extensive, and the cooking better than we expected, all at reasonable local prices. A very pleasant unpretentious restaurant/bar filled with good cheer and lots of families of all ages. One concern I had, and raised it with our waitress: we were at the main street side of the restaurant, which had been reversed, perhaps on a temporary basis, i.e. you were directed to go around and enter from the back. That is fine, but the doors in front of us were locked. IN case of a fire or an emergency, we would be relying on someone to unlock those doors. NOT a good idea, and probably in violation of the Safety Code.

Great food, fast service, very friendly and kind staff. wide choice of sweets. Sometimes it can happen that some dish leaves want, and then the vote is given doing an average. That's not the case. all dishes (antipasti, first and dessert) have been at the same level more than good, which does not happen often and guarantees good safety for any future visits. Congratulations!

We never miss a chance to have dinner at this restaurant when visiting Gavi. It’s just a perfect combination of tasty local food, friendly personnel and comfortable location as the place located in the mere stone distance from Piazza Dante Alighieri parking. I had a duck leg as a main dish and can’t wait to come back again as I’ve never tried that good duck dish before, I’m positive: Just go there and try it yourself!
