Restaurant La Ruade - Gavarnie-Gèdre

Beautiful decoration and personal, but eating was not on standards. my tartiflette was mostly swirling and cheese that the lardone lacked. my friend didn't get the discount for the plat du jour that he ordered, but we were charged more, explanation was incompatible...with marketing. the coats for the desert were good. I'm just fallen and rarely abandoned reviews, but this time I feel compelled to advise others to skip this restaurant.

Had a reservation, came and greeted by a pleasant waitress. empty restaurant, she asked where we wanted to sit, we asked if okay to sit on the window and that was in order. then the man cried behind the bar on the waitress, we did not sit there (it was not a reserved table). we moved into another table in the middle....abominating both for waitress and for us. no warning of customer service or good manage. very embarrassing for his personal. sit left, no menus offered. I have water. rest of the restaurant still empty. we went and went to les cascades. excellent meal

Because it was a Tuesday evening in september most restaurants were closed, so we had little choice. our waitress was great and you could see that she was embarrassing to serve us. the garbure was tasteless, the trout was so over boiled with. over cooked potato. the lamming aprons were burned and tasted nothing but burned, with an salate that was brown and slim and the aperitif was made from shoe leather! it was the most terrible dinner. wc fair.

22€ par personne pour manger une espèce de soupe au vin blanc, c'est un peu cher... Tout sur le papier donne pourtant envie: une carte diversifiée, le seul restaurant de fromages du coin, une jolie carte des vins (le Madiran est très bon) et un accueil aux petits oignons réalisé par les 2 filles qui s'occupent du service. Nous avons choisi la fondue Pyrénéenne et nous avons été déçus : accompagnement correct mais la fondue en elle-même manque de fromage.Cela a été signalé à la patronne et au chef : leur réponse est que cela est dû au type de fromage. Nous ne recommandons pas ce restaurant et presque à contre coeur tellement l'accueil des 2 jeunes serveuses est top, mais la sensation que les tenanciers entendent toujours les mêmes  commentaires et ne font rien pour  s'améliorer est très désagréable. Alors même si c'est le seul restaurant de ce type dans le coin n'y allez pas. 

Un conseil : ni allé pas . La viande d'agneau pour la pierrade c'était sans doute un vieux mouton qui sentait fort et le boeuf c'était de la semelle , la salade verte n'était ni lavé ni assaisonner à part au sable . La crème brûlé 1er prix du supermarché est forcément meilleur. Et j'arrête la critique la. On a fait part de notre mécontentement à une serveuse qui nous à informé que c'est le patron qui est en cuisine , pitié arrêté ce cauchemar en cuisine ... changé de boulot
