The f... read more So many visits, and so many average, but expensive meals. We live nearby so are forced to eat here fairly often due to the lack of other options close by. The food is consistently just... meh, ok. The staff have an attitude that is neither warm of welcoming and too often you can 't get their attention. The restaurant could use a reset on everything. New menu, new chefs, new and less expensive price-point. Torreon leaves so very much to be desired. Not horrible, but nowhere near good, or value for the money.

It took long to get the dishes, and they were very expensive, and not so good. The Selection of grilled fish was really selection of fried fish.

From the start it looked as if we were an inconvenience to the staff who took a while to allocate us a table and take our orders. The food was good especially the deep fried artichokes and the deserts. The service really did take the shine off what should have been a relaxed and easy lunch. We had to ask for things repeatedly. The waiting staff looked fed up when we did so. In addition the dumping of plates on the table without a smile or any engagement and banging at the nearby waiting station as cutlery was thrown in to the draws was off putting.

Set in nice grounds so you didn 't feel hemmed in to the surrounding buildings. Despite being very busy the staff were efficient and helpful. I 've seen other reviews that mention staff are abrupt/rude I 'd describe it more as fast and direct and a bit of a language barrier perhaps found that trying to speak Spanish thawed out the professional facade and brought lots more smiles.... Definitely recommend!
