Gasthaus Haller - Gauting

Went there today from Munich by bike stopping for lunch. First time visit, friendly service, good food, I had the salad with the nuts and goats cheese, my wife the chicken with salad. both dishes were very good, reasonably priced. Their lager is not so...good, but they have good Weißbier. Really traditional place, with small beer garden and nice interior. Will definitely go there again

The landgasthof also rents rooms that were obviously recently renovated. we spent one night here and were very happy. the rooms are appropriately furnished and clean. only a chair in the room is missing. the breakfast with rolls, cheese, sausage, jam, egg etc, was served at the table and was plentiful. the service was very friendly and coffee was immediately handed in. we would like to stay overnight on the trip here.

Years ago I was in this house several times and we were all quite satisfied at that time. it was such a secret tip if you wanted to eat, drink and laugh without disturbing from the northern lights. the new pächter visibly strives to ensure a cheap and plentiful food intake, but with the Bavarian cuisine it has nothing to do anymore. the comfort is there, the quality goes down. unfortunately no exception in the opposite, in which many ancient economies had to close, or slowly go down the bach.The service is excellent and we would wish the new pächter to get a defensive Bavarian cuisine!
