This is a really good place to satisfy your Veg taste buds if you are fond of north Indian food. The location is a bit clumsy and the ambience is average but the quality of food and service compensates all..a typical real Indian food joint...lower your expectation of any fine dining.and you will love the food. although the prices are high. but eating was good earlier. but recently on October 28, when we visited there after we had come home, we all broke up. no idea what was wrong with eating. please maintain them hygiene and quality otherwise the advantage of being in a...prominent place will not help. it is an old and good restaurant, but lately they are busy enjoying their good will and satisfying customers View all feedback.
It is value for money with real good indian vegetarian fresh food. little touch of MARWARI FLAVOUR . overall must visit for good veg food.
The place is good for taking lunch and dinner and is serving delicious food to people . I enjoyed eating.
One of the oldest food joint in Guwahati serving pure vegetarian food. The dal roti and paneer are amazing
Over the years there has been a splurge of restaurants in guwahati, but Gopal Maharaj still retains it charm. The service is such that it makes you feel at home. The all time favorite: Yellow dal fry, paneer bhurji, pyaj buji, Tandoori roti and Gopal Maharaj Special Pulao.
Loved the north indian food out here.Delicios rotis and very tasty panner,mixed veg,kofta and dal curries.Pulao was very good too.While writing this review i can still remember the delicious taste of the meal there
