Very small portions, and our panaeng Curries had a weird flavour, not unpleasant, but certainly not the best Thai we've ever eaten. There were non traditional vegetables in it too, long stringy greens and eggplant. We try to support local businesses, so we tried this one. We might head on up to Toowoomba in the future. Decent Thai food. Very pricy and small portion. Would return only if I'm absolutely craving for Thai and am too lazy to travel to Toowoomba.
Having previously dined when this place was at the Bowls club and receiving good service and food imaging my dismay when today I took my partner to the new premises at the Golf Club restaurant only to be treated like a leper and served what could only be described as reheated frozen garbage.. Some of my entree was still frozen in the middle while the rest was quite rancid and clearly nothing was fresh or even edible. The Lamb in both main courses was tough and chewy and the so called fried rice was clearly over cooked gluggy and HORRIBLE. Reheated mush at best. Now we had to wait to be seated and then get up to find staff to order and since we were the first in the restaurant we should have been the first served, this was not the case nor were we asked if we enjoyed the meal or why none of it was eaten. I have e-mailed the restaurant to see if they have some reasonable explanation to why they tried to poison me today .
