We have been going to the local RSL for the past 12 years, ever since moving to Qld, and although keen to support this great organisation, I draw the line at the generally inconsistant food quality. No two visits were ever the same, ranging from acceptable to poor. Now I have just read that it is closing down, so this is now somewhat academic...

The bistro offered a Mother's Day special, a well priced 3 course lunch with generous servings and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend to travellers passing through on their way between Brisbane and Toowoomba.

3rd time we have had a quick lunch here and the staff are extremely friendly, fast and helpful. Even offered to carry our drinks to our table as I have had recent knee surgery. Couldn't fault the food or quantity for the price. Will go again.

This place is easy to get to with plenty of parking space. The food is good as is the service, prices are reasonable. There is enough room for large groups.

We have eaten here a number of times and while the food isn't the best in town it is definitely the best value for money. In particular the oysters for entrees. They were massive and tasty. I will be ordering them again that's for sure. As I said the meals aren't perfect but for the price you pay you certainly get your money's worth.
