we visited this pub two weeks ago and noticed the sunday dinner so we decided to return yesterday and sample the lunch well 6 different veg two yorkshires and a chicken breast that looked as though it came off an ostrich my wife had 4 slabs of beef both meals were perfect if the rest of the menu is as good as sunday lunch well they are on to a winner. great friendly service and good ale the most astounding thing was... Great people and better atmosphere, ideal for a quiet pint or a funny quiz night! the bar staff are friendly and the drinks are good value and are well poured!
Britains best pub, woman behind the bar couldn’t do enough for us. Was that good we patched train to stay another night Will be back
Really nice pub with good atmosphere and even nicer bar staff who looked after us all weekend, would highly recommend!!
Fine as a pub, but they don't serve any food whatsoever, despite what it says on their website. They claim they have no control over the website.
Place is amazing, friendly and clean. Always something on through the week. Staff are amazing&friendly
