Greek Gyros - Gateshead

My wife and I have been here before , the food is always good here, it's not a restaurant more like a sit down sandwiches eating area but the food is always first class it's a hot sandwiches bar but on a plate it's worth a visit and not expensive...

A little bit of Greek culture in Gateshead (Metro Centre). Food was great. The gyros were filling. The stifado tasted superb and the cheese pie was great. Although the menu was very limited, the food on offer was great..... a but of Greek music would have added to the experience. Highly recommended.

Had an excellent meal here, portion size was more than enough. I had a Chicken Gyros (meal and it had plenty of flavour, The Staff were polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend visiting here while you shop at the Metro Centre :

The dining area is spacious, but it would have been helpful if someone had guided us to our seats and provided us with a menu from which we needed to order.

I highly recommend this small hidden gem in the subway center. The meat was excellently marinated, and the salad was fresh, without being left in vinegar to preserve it. The staff was also very polite, which enhanced the overall experience. (Visited on 29/10/21.)
