What Peter Gradon doesn't like about ASK Italian Metrocentre Gateshead:
We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was awful - dry, salty, and overcooked. All three pasta dishes we ordered were bland and seemed to have been pre-cooked and microwaved. One of the staff members was very rude. The prices were very high and the drink selection was disappointing. We will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I went to this restaurant last night for a meal and it was absolutely wonderful! As a vegetarian, it's always appreciated when the staff and chefs are accommodating. Being able to have a carbonara without pancetta really made my night. The servers were all friendly and attentive. Overall, I rate the service, food, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
