I’ve visited a couple times with family to check out the amazing cactus collection. Coffee is pretty terrible and bitter. But every time I visit, the staff are really rude. Last visit the barista sat my coffee on the bench without telling me it was...ready. The cafe was busy so I assumed it was someone else’s. I had a perfect morning at Poppy's due to the delicious food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. This was my first visit since before the pandemic, and I was thoroughly impressed with every detail of the food. I will definitely be returning, thanks to the wonderful experience provided by many.
I had lunch with a friend at the café today. I decided to try the lamb salad, but unfortunately, it was extremely oily and unappetizing. It made me feel dizzy and overall, I would not recommend this place.
Ever since the renovations, our dining experience and the service at Poppy have not disappointed. The renovations have been spectacular, and Newcastle is lucky to have such a stunning location.
Absolutely blown away, with how amazing our experience was in the poppy’s verandah caffe. I recommend coming here to check it out, both my man and I gave our kudos to the chef as waitress.
Food was incredible, staff were very accomodating and experience was 11/10. I highly recommend poppy’s breakfast and lunch.
