Kitchen Mae Kong - Gastonia

Went with my family. Their fish dishes are very good. Really recommend. The tum yum soup was also great. I wasn’t the biggest fan of their Pad Thai, though, but I am very particular when it comes to Pad Thai. The staff were very nice and service was fast. Would gladly revisit.

Great Thai food! They also have Vietnamese Pho and Sushi The beef Pho was really tasty. Can't go wrong with getting the Thai iced tea. Highly recommended

Weird combination of Asian cuisines but everything is pretty authentic. We're both experienced travelers in Asia and approve of this restaurant. I like the sushi. My wife likes the Thai food and it's very similar to what you'd find in Thailand. Nothing we've had from here has been bad.

Even amid the covid 19 pandemic, all of the staff gave us an excellent visit for takeout. We wanted a sweet tea and was told it is different. It's actually a lavender tea. Amazing doesn't even do it justice. They even refilled us a few times as we waited for our food. The Thai Sweet Sour Chicken was phenomenal. The Red Curry Duck was awesome. We ordered a couple of sushi rolls that were fabulous, including one that had salmon and eel, with a slightly sweet sauce. They even sent us with a sample of another type of sushi to see our interest. However, the highlight of our meal is my new all time favorite sweet treat, which is the Sticky Rice with Mango. It isn't too sweet but just perfect with a sweetened coconut milk. I am in love!! Hats off to the staff who gave perfect customer service and went above and beyond for us!

The decor is beautiful! It's really spectacular compared to most other restaurants. I love Thai food and the food at this restaurant was pretty good. I had their Pad See Ew and would buy it again. I also had sushi, but probably won't get it again here because of the price. The jasmine iced tea is very good! The waitress we had was really nice and attentive.
