We regularly bike to here for our coffee.Madam runs a tight ship, but is always attentive and welcoming.We order, in our very broken French, and the coffee and cake appears.Excellent place to sit and pass the time with superb views of the beach and lake.Have eaten here too and can recommend the herring salad. What User doesn't like about Le Chalet:
Have visited for several ears in the summer and it is, to be fair, the perfect location. On the door step of Le Lac, sun shining, no competition so the only bar in town....But the landlady is a miserable old soul, despite her screwing tourist with extortionate prices. And the state of the glasses, the kitchen and tables is disgusting! I'm no prude nor a health and safety nut, but she must never clean anywhere, wouldn... View all feedback.
Great snack this afternoon in front of the lake. Friendly welcome. A little extra for the 2 chocolates ordered: 2 pieces of gingerbread and 2 glasses of water. Very pleasant ! To recommend !

Not friendly and not smiling. It’s a shame that the sum of bad reviews on TripAdvisor and Google don’t push them to improve because the location is pleasant... it’s the only positive point unfortunately
We were greeted with a smile though the team had lunch. Very nice.
