We ate here after a full day of riding snowmobile. Beautiful restaurant. Good tasting food, good music and sports on the tv. Service a little slow for dinner but breakfast was quick. Would definitely come back when in Gaspe. Hotel Baker View all feedback.

I would not recommend this place to anyone with food intolerances or allergies. The cook did not want to come to the table to explain why is not possible to make small changes to each plate just to avoid my allergy to dairy products... No empathy. One. The only positive thing to add: the waitress who visited us tried to convince him several times and she was very friendly... More people like them are needed in this r... View all feedback.
So I'm surprised this place got 5 stars on yelp. Then I figured the newest review is 2 years ago so maybe things changed. I agree the view is beautiful and we went there around sunset it was lovely. Food presentation is nice. My juice cane with a lolypop and kids menus come stapled in a popcorn bag pretty creative must say. But here is one thing, be aware of the menu is online and guess what? English is different than French! Yep! Husband ordered an Arctic char risotto from the English menu, apparently in French it's lobster risotto! I ordered a spinach avocado salad, looks like in French menu there is no avocado! To be honest I find this so misleading and in times of google translate it's very easy to get the correct translation... service she was nice to begin with then when all this mess happened she wasn't nice . My salad had chicken I'd expect grilled or something but it came a chicken leg yes on top of my salad and was soooo salty! Anyways we left unsatisfied !
We were visiting Gaspé for two days and loved this place so much we returned the following day. Plusses: The food was excellent, mostly locally sourced, and reasonably priced. Window seating gave a nice view of the Baie. They offer lots of menu options and styles n there something there for everyone. Minuses: There's a long list of craft brews but only two white wines. Service was a bit slow.
Absolutely fabulous! A little pricey, but right in line with prices of restaurants in our area (New England). The tap selection is disappointing, for a craft beer aficionado but the bottle selection is deep and varied tons of good choices although each is a Quebec sized bottle. The fish and chips were perfection; I had some sort of creative burger with sausage, kimchi and beer mustard. All the sauces, breads, and mayonnaises are made in house, as noted on the menu. The ambiance is funky but also sports bar, high end restaurant and family restaurant a curious mix that I think would make many many people happy. Ah yes, and for dessert I had the poor man's pudding with maple and bacon, served warm and melts in a syrup can with homemade vanilla ice cream to die for!

The cook is the worst!!! Total lack of emphathy and sensitivity for alergic people. Reject even to remove cheese from a hamburguer for milk unbearable people!!! even if he uses milk products on any other meal of the menu!!!
