Hidden jewel. Most restaurants have been closed and opened. This place does not look like beautiful or modern outside and inside, but the service is very good. Delicious food, big menu, great portions. Very recommend this historic family local place. View all feedback.
What Jenn M doesn't like about Rôtisserie St-hubert Gaspé:
This is not diner food. I enjoy diner food. This is cafeteria food that is served to you. It comes complete with rolls in wrappers, alphabet soup, mass made salad, square, pounded steak, processed potatoes (served with an ice cream scooper), and canned carrots. This is not diner food. On the plus side, they speak English and waitress was friendly enough. If you are driving through Gaspe and you are hungry, go to McDo... View all feedback.
A hidden gem! While many restaurants have been opening and closing, this one stands out. Although it may not look particularly beautiful or modern from the outside or inside, the service is excellent. The food is delicious, the menu is extensive, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this historic family-run establishment.
The staff was friendly, providing excellent service and being very accommodating and patient. The food was delicious, especially the vegetable soup, which I loved. They also offered great recommendations from the menu and kept the table clean throughout the meal. I have no complaints at all. This place stands out in comparison to other restaurants in the city.
We started with the seafood poutine, which was fantastic—large in size and loaded with shrimp, scallops, and even some lobster! The seafood spaghetti was similarly generous and satisfying. The maple salmon and pan-roasted cod were both delightful and served in reasonable portions. Initially, I considered giving a 4-star rating, but the reasonable prices and ample wine servings convinced me to bump it up to a 5! If you're seeking great food in the area without the hassle of a long wait, and don’t mind the decor, you should definitely give this place a try. I visited based on a previous review that called it a hidden gem, and I completely agree—it truly is!
Great food and ambience. Saturday special lunch was a lot of food with soup, net and dessert. The service was also very good. Overall it loved it.
Very reasonable in all aspects: service, quality of food. Family atmosphere. Love their fried cod.
