What B R doesn't like about Sabza Indian Takeaway:
Food was okay but the cheese garlic naan bread was small, dry and tasteless, hardly any cheese. It was extremely thin. Definitely over priced for a curry on its own for the standard. I understand the no serving alcohol and that you can bring your own drinks although every 5 minuets customers were nipping to the shop for a bottle of wine. Slightly strange atmosphere. OK,....so its Wednesday night and looking forward to a great curry from Sabza in Garstang . I say great because that what its been in the past. We have recommended them many times for takeaway and we have eaten in the restaurant but, just like many restaurants never stay consistent. Our chicken tikka was bright red that looked like artificial colouring and had no flavour whatsoever which means it had not been marinated. Our lamb balti was like a waterey lamb casserole, again no flavour at all. The spinach and potato was bland, again no flavour at all. I feel strongly about places that you recommend to people that end up being rubbish which is why I'm giving a heads up on here. Ok, it may be the original chef is away or ill but there should be someone to replace him in a busy restaurant like Sabza. I hope this is just a glitch because up till now they were the best around.
