What User doesn't like about La Bergerie:
Pour déjeuner nous avons pris la formule du jour à 14 euros avec une salade César et un dessert. La salade a été une déception : salade pas du jour, morceaux de poulet très petits, pas de parmesan mais des lamelles de gruyère, pas de croutons...Le dessert : salade de fruits ou 2 boules. Au final plutôt cher pour ce qu'on a mangé. Par contre, les plats à la carte semblent mieux. Des saveurs mauritiennes mais qui ont u... View all feedback.
We sit at lovely terrace and enjoy the lovely tapas, fresh, light and delicious, what else. Then we decided to try the restaurant which is as expected as good. After that, we went 2 more times for tapas. it’s simply nice place for a summer night. Our 6&8 years also enjoyed it very much.
Family friendly restaurant with an excellent and fresh menu. The setting and friendly staff are also a big plus. Would surely advise.
On a breezy cool sunny Sunday, we headed west out of Uzes to this small restaurant that we had heard of, but never tried. We had reserved (always a good idea on a Sunday) and we’re shown a table on the spacious patio with sails protecting us from the noonday sun. A tasty amuse bouche of humisband thin bread crisps arrived . We opted for the menu at 34€ and I had a delicious fleur de courgette stuffed with something delightful and accompanied by a small slice of warm fois gras. My husband chose the salade câprese with tomatoes from their garden (visible from the terrasse)and burata. The variety of tomatoes was impressive. We both chose the swordfish main dish that had a finely chopped salsa of pineapple and sun dried tomatoes, an interesting summer squash and potato millefeuille. À glass of local dry white for me and a pina colada for my husband accompanied ourbmeal. The desserts were less spectacular, but homemade and tasty, a molleux au chocolat and a tira misu aux figues from the tree on the patio. This restaurant is off the beaten path, and away from tourist ridden Uzes at this time of summer, but we’ll worth the 15 minute drive.
We had an amazing food experience in this marvelous restaurant. The chef is quite an artist with the food.
Repas en famille cuisine de qualité, produits frais le potager est devant le restaurant !Le genre de restaurant que l'on recherche :)
