Wir kommen seit 20 Jahren in dieses italienische Restaurant im wenig beachteten Vorort Garmisch-Partenkirchens Burgrain. Die Pizzen sind gut belegt, der Boden knusprig und dünn. Empfehlenswert sind auch die zahlreichen Pasta-Gerichte z.B. die Rigatoni Chef oder Tris di Pasta. Vorspeisen, Salate und Desserts stehen dem in nichts nach. In my lunch break I went to Burgrain on Loisach. San Marco's pizzeria is inevitable. And what should I say, fresh air is hungry. Nothing is against putting the car in the big parking lot and watching the menu at the entrance. Perfect! Stone mushroom Carpaccio stood there on the map of the day and let me enter. Since a few years ago the restaurant made a conservatory from the terrace in cultivation to the building, it was very won in my eyes. While in the “old” part the quite simple chairs and tables with yellow blankets are still to be found, the large conservatory is slightly filled and modern, super comfortable chairs and pleasantly large tables, the mint green color spreads well-being atmosphere. For this purpose the wing doors were wide open to the terrace, which became smaller after the changeover. I was kindly greeted by the signore, but he was too busy to give me a table. It was a lot of business – especially families maybe because today was the first day of school? So I was looking for a quiet place on the side of the wall in the conservatory. At the transition to other guests I received the menu with a friendly smile. In addition to the mushrooms Carpaccios € 12.90 for appetizers, I chose Spaghetti Genovese € 6.80 and a small Pellegrino 0.25 l. € 2,20 . Together with the mineral water I got a basket with fresh white bread. When the signore brought me my carpaccio, he also asked if I wanted vinegar and oil? I'd like to. I drank both carefully over the plate, and then I tried. H! You can see it again, good food is not witchcraft if you use first-class ingredients. The stone mushrooms were a dream, the coarsely sprayed Parmesan beautifully coarse-grained, with the Taufrakete with the good vinegar oil mixture – simply wonderful with the fresh bread. If I had a glass of wine, that would have been the little bite. But then I had to get back to work. After this successful appetizer I saw the spaghetti optimistically tuned. Absolutely right! Finally, a cook that does not hold the pasta with pesto. The noodles flew a magnificent baslikum fragrance because they were easily surrounded by the pesto. I gave him some parmesan, then I devoted myself to the pleasure. Because it really was, I couldn't enjoy such a good pesto for a long time. The only negative at the whole meal was that both parts were quite large and I saw no more possibility for a dessert. After nothing to criticize, there is the rare complete score for an Italian lunch. For service I forgive four stars. The boss had all his hands to do and constantly snooped through the table lines in the "braked stage". Nevertheless, he always remained friendly. His wife could have supported him a little more because most of his works were hanging on him. After work he had the socks: I was still offered a drink at the payment I thankfully refused. The toilets are flattered, they are a little tight, but clean. On the HP, relatively good photos of the entire facility of the local are shown, only under “is” there is a reference to the World Championship. Conclusion: The house does not look very welcoming – as most houses in Burgrain should not be deterred. A visit is worth it! That's why I have a clear recommendation. Leicht von der Jugendherberge aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Leckere Pizza, Cannelloni und gegrillte Calamari. Schinken in den Nudeln war etwas zäh und die Antipasti ziemlicher Standard. Die Bedienung hat uns leider häufig links liegen gelassen, was etwas nervig war.

... halten wir hier an. Das Essen ist stets lecker und ausreichend, die Bedienung bis jetzt immer freundlich. Am Wochenende und zu touristisch stark frequentierten Zeiten sollte man mit mehreren Personen lieber einen Tisch vorbestellen.
