Seehaus Café Riessersee

On Friday, 26.08. we were invited to a family meeting here. With about 40 people we returned to the terrace with magnificent views over the lake. At the same time, two wedding companies were present at the restaurant and two other companies had just finished their celebrations and left the restaurant. One half of the terrace was reserved for our group and actually locked; However, this has not prevented many other guests and sea visitors from opening the barrier in part forcibly and marching through us, sometimes even with bicycles and suitcases. The first friendly staff took orders in the waiter’s PC; However, after drinks, food and table lines (on the left/right side sit at the table also extra! This caused some irritations during delivery and the foods were missing supplements/seeds or there were even false dishes. The court ordered for a four-year-old child came as one of the last; at the time, the parents wanted to go back as they had a child of 11 months. The dishes themselves looked visually appealing and were also tastefully very good. But chaos broke out in numbers, as the waiter obviously had no vision on his PC. Unfortunately, he blamed the guests who had escaped to pay separately to families. He also gave quite unheard, several times at various guests and with a somewhat dampened voice, his bad comments on it. I haven't seen anything like that for years. As a boss, I would have the papers on these employees on the same day with a huge...... in that...! Or: is there consciously accepted on the back of the staff and fed as many events as possible from the administration? No matter what variant can happen, it is little favorable for the satisfaction of customers and will harm the reputation of the house in the long term instead of using it!. Very good! Conclusion: Magnificent location very good food staff however completely overwhelmed and unprofessional! Renewable (1* 5* : 1* total gastroguide value: 2* 3*

08.05.2016 After our evening walk around Lake Riess, we took a seat on the terrace at the lake to enjoy the magnificent panorama with a drink. Right soon a friendly waiter came to pick up our drinks. Soon after, our drinks came. Apparently, however, this was not very tampering-active, so after we had taught our glasses and it became cool, we had to make it noticeable through a walk inward. On this occasion I also had the opportunity to look at the premises of the interior. The restaurant has a considerable capacity inside, which is too uncomfortable to me personally and trembling after mass feeding. After all, in the evening the sanitary rooms in the basement were still decent clean. If I hide the grandiose Alpine panorama, then there are 3 starlets left.

The standard double rooms are tiny and already some dwelling, the staff is not the most friendly and really clean here is nothing. The only good thing was breakfast, but in the evening we would rather have eaten out. The coronation was the indoor swimming pool: slim and torn silicone joints by the pool, the water much too cold, hair in the shower... nee! And then the price! Absolutely next! There are two positive points: the area is unlikely to be beautiful and there is a leisure space with playstation and various other play equipment. This alone is not enough to get me there again!!!

A lot has changed since the neighboring Riessersee Hotel took over the small lake hotel from private hands. The terasse makes a more professional impression, there are extendable sun protection and basket chairs. Nevertheless, the charm of this restaurant café has been preserved. The view is so beautiful on Lake Riess and the Waxenstein that this view can be admired in the weather panorama on German television. The camera is attached to the gable. In summer, the natural swimming pool provides life. Especially the nice waiter Mario is a pleasure at welcoming. Old school, take care of heart. He loves his job! The kitchen has done a big step forward. Although more good food is a bit more expensive, it is worth tasting them. Our deer-back-screamed with scrub noodles and rose cabbage was top-class and not easy to cook by housewives. It is an immense difference whether a sauce is drawn freshly á la minute or whether the chef makes the effort to cook a sauce from parrots and bones, roast vegetables and aromas in hours of work that he is looking for. This was the case.Chapeau! The meat was tender and rosé, the rose cabbage still crisp. The potato cucumber Radieserl salad to the liver cheese with fried egg was a poem. Even simple dishes can convince when the Know How is right. The fruit cake was fresh, in the cake counter everything looked good! Can we recommend!
