Kochelberg - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Climb up the mountain on a beautiful hike and come upon this beautiful small pond with a fountain, ducks, geese, chickens and goats. There you are at Kochelberg Alms, a family run small restaurant with about 7 picnic style tables set up outside and 4 good size tables set up inside. The most amazing food comes out of this tiny kitchen, along with beer, wine and great coffee.Sit back and breath in this delicious air, watch the children play, eat sausages or pancakes and take it all in.

It's a paradise for children with the pond in front of the restaurant and all the fish, ducks and goose around. The food is typical Bavarian and the "Kaiserschmarrn" definitly something to share. Kochelberg-Alm is a family-owned business with a special charme.
