Darren's American Grill - Garland

Best hamburger, cooked to perfection, with amazing flavor! I had a cup of chili on the side and added some to my burger for a chili burger. My son, who usually labors through meals, devoured his burger like he was on a mission from God to obliterate all evidence of his meal. He must have loved it as there was nothing left of it. I will Never come between my son and Darren's fries. I usually get to sneak a couple. Not so with these. The kid actually snarled at ME, his Mother! Next time I'll order my own. My husband also had a burger. I only saw it when it was placed in front of him. The next time I looked up, he was attempting to sneak a French fry from Tasmanian Devil seated between us. He too was bitterly disappointed at his failure to obtain what looked to be a golden wand of goodness. We will be back to try the ribs which smelled as if they arrived from heaven carried by God's own angel ambassadors. Ambiance is lovely. Service was excellent. Perfect for families. There is a private room for groups and parties. Highly recommend!!!!!

We just had a late lunch at Darren's place burger and rings, and a chicken fried steak. All the food was excellent, cooked and served exactly as we requested. My friends from from E Systems Garland will remember Darren and his Burger Time grill across the street. Darren is the same great guy, he still makes an outstanding burger and has a full menu, including adult beverages. If you're in Spring Park, Crawley Park or adjacent neighborhoods you have a great new neighborhood eatery. Go there!

This place is so close to my house, I had to try it. We had the Luna Ribeye, 22oz of tender, melt in your mouth heaven! Great music with Don Morgan. Service is excellent. Perfect, hole in the wall place that is surprisingly awesome!

I discovered Darren’s American Grill quite by accident. I had had surgery back in June and couldn’t drive for two weeks. During that period, I ordered food from a lot of places through Uber Eats. One of the places I found through this process is Darren’s. I have only had breakfast from there, but it is always excellent. I finally went there this morning to order my breakfast in person. I can’t wait to go back Friday night for the all you can eat catfish.

I thought this place was a fun environment and the food and service was really good. The owner was very nice and personable. This place really goes out of their way for their customers.
