You can dead and say goodbye to your life, but u don’t want to dead without pho! The best Vietnamese rice noodles in Dallas, not eating Vietnamese rice noodles in Garland is like not having Jerusalem in the Western world. I put it here, I regret not eating it for the rest of my life, I regret eating it for the first half of my life! Each dish is specially and carefully prepared. A new taste experience! What MrMalibug doesn't like about Saigon Texas Vietnamese Seafood:
In and out in less than 5 minutes. Very pricey menu. Empty. Could be a great place if they had some Vietnamese staples like Pho. I get it upscale. Good luck. The staff were very nice and and the restaurant is beautiful. Have a reasonably priced lunch menu items like soups and you might keep the doors open. View all feedback.
Tried it now because I thought the old restaurant still sold Seafood and beef. Whoever comes in to see the new menu, also sees a few Facebook posts promoting this restaurant's deliciousness, but when they eat, they are extremely disappointed, so they don't know if it's just PR people. Grilled pork rice was extremely disappointing, salty and black with all the bones visible (fish sauce optionally added chili). And the steamed duck noodles without pickles and dipping sauce. The noodle soup is bland, the noodles are bland and the duck is not delicious, with water it's okay, but the table doesn't have spices for customers to season themselves. Never come back .
It’s under new management, w different name Saigon chill. Food is ok, not bad not good but staffs are friendly and nice
Super good place. Usually quiet and service is friendly. Food comes out really fast and all of the food is seasoned and sauced well
I liked the steam little neck clams with lemongrass. There was plenty of liquid in it so it looked more like soup, but I didnot mind since there were a lot of fresh lemongrass. I brought home the leftover broth. My daughter and I didnot like the heavy taste of mayo under the cheese on the baked oysters with cheese. The oyster II ate has sand in it. The oysters my daughter ate were good. We also had scallop fried rice. It was all right. I don't recommend the scallop soup since it was mainly a lot of liquid. Customer service was superb. We were given a 15%discount that the restaurant is running at the moment though we didnot know. We came in near their happy hours. 4pm-7pm, mon thru fri.
Food was awesome especially the salted fish fried rice . We will definitely come back again.
