TripAdvisor says they are vegan and vegetarian friendly, but they are not. They had asparagus and red peppers as part of separate meals that came with fish or meat. I asked if they could just make me the vegetables which they did. When I left, I was shocked that they charged me full price for each of the meals. In the end, it cost me €28 for five pieces of asparagus and about eight slices of red pepper. I can’t speak to their other food, but I would definitely stay away if you are vegetarian or vegan. They’re in Puente la Reina, but charged New York City prices.
I simply cannot say enough good things about this awesome Vinoteca to do it justice. It is incredible. The owner cooked me a meal of two appetizers and a main course. All were local dishes from the Navarre area. All were amazing. The best part was the different Navarre wines I had with each course. So if you wish to treat yourself to local specialities on the Camino, then you must try this place. The owners/operators were very friendly and gracious.
Came here about 7pm after a day of walking the Camino. Was grateful it opened early. Had lovely rose wine, and healthy choices including salad, plates with sardines. Friendly service. Sat outside where there are just a few tables.
Delicious local food with a charming atmosphere and friendly, welcoming service. The menu is prepared using locally sourced produce and you can really taste the difference.
This is a very small wine /cheese shop with a small restaurant attached. Four tables in the street and two or three inside. The food is outstanding with a good selection of wines at very reasonable prices for what you get. We enjoyed the white asparagus and the artichokes as well as a pork plate. All were excellent. Inside they have a good selection of Rioja wines to choose from. The waiter was very efficient and we had little trouble communicating even though we speak little Spanish and he speaks little English. Highly recommend that you give this spot a try. We’ve had a long, hot day on the Camino and this was the perfect place for us to unwind.
