The food was excellent. Our waitress was great. The only problem we had is the waitress told us a story about a couple of guys ordering more meat after they ate. The definition of a small town favorite. With a rich history backing not only the food but the location and family as well, this is my #1 pick for best food in the Carson Valley. Come with an empty belly because you will need it here, all food is family style and there is not a single dish I have not liked. Make sure to try a traditional basque drink at the bar before you get your food!
Great family style Basque dinner. Great steak and sides. A special place to take your special people. Font forget to put your beans on top of your salad. Yum! I love this place! Have been enjoying the food the fun the friendly atmosphere for about 60 years! Consistently the best. Love the old memories of going to the JT as a kid and the new memories of today! Will always be my favorite Basque Style Restaurant!

Can't go wrong with the best Basque food and great staff! We landed there right when a very large group was lined up to eat, and the place was packed. But they squeezed us in, and wasted no time in getting us set up with drinks and food. It was all delicious and fun!!
