The takoyaki here is so addicting. It's made fresh and sometimes there can be a long wait when they're busy. It reminds me of what I had in Japan where the shell is crispy on the outside and the inside has a generous sized piece of octopus. An order of eight pieces is pretty filling. The mentaiko mayo topping is delicious! They offer a stamp card rewards program. Gindaco is located inside the Tokyo Central food court... View all feedback.
I ate Gindaco in Japan and was absolutely blown away by it, and was excited to see one here on the US. I stopped by here and tried it and don’t regret it. Although it tasted amazing, the sauce was a bit overpowering and sweet, but still very good. The left picture is Gardena and the right one is from Japan.
Super yummy! The dine-in place is pretty messed up and crowded.
Oh Takoyaki, why are you so darn delicious?! Unfortunately, I don't know of many places in the OC that make great takoyaki, so I have to drive either to Gardena or to Little Tokyo to get my takoyaki fix. It's quite fortunate that this particular location is within Tokyo Central so I can do my usual grocery shopping and get my takoyaki cravings satisfied (RIP wallet, huhuhu). You honestly can't go wrong with any selection, but if it's your first time, try the Original. I love cheese and anything creamy so I usually add in an order for the Cheese Mentaiko. It's made fresh to order so you might want to rethink about putting the whole thing in your mouth, because it's going to burn. They have clear displays so you can even film them making your order. I've never had a horrible experience ordering from here and although it is a very popular spot, I've never waited over 10 minutes for my order.
Bit pricey but it was good! 16 balls for almost 20 dollars.
Love it, first time I’ve ever tried it very delicious will be coming back again
