Terrace Lakes Ranch - Garden Valley

Eating is okay. the service is terrible. they look like they're pulling them out. they would think they would try to ensure that their guests feel welcome and appreciated. I've done a shot several times, but why I'm not returning when I'm always disappointed.

I visited the restaurant on Mother’s Day morning hoping to grab a coffee. Unfortunately, the young blonde waitress was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. When the people in front of me asked her how her day was going, she replied with an annoyed, “Ughhhh!!! It’s Mother’s Day.” After she rang them up, she completely ignored me and started cleaning another table as if there were no other tables available. I stood there waiting for her to acknowledge me, but she continued to ignore me. Eventually, I decided to walk out. I understand that many people are struggling to find workers due to COVID, but there's no excuse for such rudeness. I could never allow someone like that to represent my restaurant, no matter how short-staffed I was!

Excellent service! The food was quite good. However, it was a bit odd that we were locked in and had to go back upstairs to find another exit.

We went for breakfast, and my husband found the chicken fried steak to be dry and lacking in flavor. The country gravy could neither be described as country nor as gravy. The eggs had an odd taste, which made us think they might be stale. To top it off, the coffee was terrible.

Decent food with some really good specials. Nice wine tasting room and very good weekend prime rib.
