We had a quick lunch. I had half a sandwich/ salad. Wife had chicken finger basket. Both were well prepared with ample food. Sat on the covered deck overlooking the ocean. Service was wonderful. View all feedback.
What Evan V doesn't like about Conch Cafe:
To start, dining outdoors here is a delightful experience; the atmosphere gets a perfect ten. However, I wouldn’t choose to spend my money on eating inside. While the food has been decent, it doesn't quite measure up. View all feedback.
We make it a point to eat at The Conch every time we come to the beach. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service!
Had the seafood sampler plate and it was excellent! Tea was the best!
It was well worth the 45 minute drive from Longs to enjoy good food by the ocean. The restaurant has great views of the beach from every seat. I had she crab soup to start delicious! My wife enjoyed the made fresh honey mustard dressing on her house salad. The catch of the day, fresh snapper, was both of our entree choices. I had griiled. Amy had blackened. We of course shared so we each could try both versions. Both were great but my favorite was the grilled. The dishes were accompanied with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus also amazing. Dessert was peanut butter pie for her and key lime pie. Both were great choices to end the meal. Our server, Regan, was great friendly, accurate and very personable.
Conch fritters were very good! The French fries accompany my sandwich were perfect. I asked to be crispy. Unfortunately my grilled Mahi sandwich was dry and tasteless. Ordered a tito's on the beach drink. It was good. Staff was excellent!Just my 2nd time here. I'll be back to try more.
Tonight, my wife, my daughter and I stopped for dinner and I can honestly say I wanted to talk to the cook and give my accusations. I had the conch Seafood plate and the fried scallops were the best I ever had, so buttery soft and tender, simply melted in my mouth. the oyster was not rubbery, exactly the opposite, so soft and tasty. the fairies of my wife were not chewing, simply despicable and sweet. the steak of my daughter was juicy and tender. Normally my wife has a current reaction on seafood with preservatives, but here the seafood was so fresh that she was perfectly good. service was pointed notch, very polite and friendly, eating was hot and served fast, although the restaurant was pretty busy. conch cafe earned my 5 stars and if I could, I would give it 20 stars! they have my business two to none!
