Last week, my family and I spent some time at Bear Lake and decided to try out every milkshake joint in the area. This place definitely stood out among the rest. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Zipz:
I was disappointed when I ordered the cookie dough shake and found that the chocolate chips were missing from the ice cream. It tasted like plain syrup. Last year, they had the best shake I have ever had, but unfortunately, it seems like the quality has declined this year. View all feedback.
Used to love this place, but with the latest menu changes and the trips it is not worth. the new options are under par and the skyberry shakes have a fake and tasteless taste. really sad to see that this sweet and funny place goes down the drain.
Gonna go here before la beau's because of their amazing food and that muddy buddy shake!
Zips is seriously delicious. Everytime we visit bear lake we say we're going to try something new but always end up at zips. Hands down our favorite!
New favorite bear lake restaurant. The cool decor and multiple seating options, super friendly employees and food are the best! First time we ordered take out dinner and loved the fries, shrimp and chicken sandwich. We returned for dairy free Dole whip that was divine. We liked too that you could get diff sizes from mini on up of shakes. Worth the wait for tasty reasonable food.
The best addition to Garden City's food scene by far! I remembered when this location was a rundown old house. The original structure was built in 1925 and finally in 2014, Zipz was born--and we're so glad it was! I love that they own the fact that they're not the oldest shake in town, hence the Least Famous Shake motto. But that's okay because their shakes are great and the quality of food amazes me. Bear Lake has needed a joint like this and they finally have one. Burgers, fries, fish n' chips, chicken sandwiches, hand dipped corn dogs and more! Their fries are battered (can come GF) and make the absolute perfect crispy compliment to my ice cream. The shakes were on the milkier side, but still tasty. I wished my raspberry shake was a little stronger on the raspberry, but I really liked their cookie dough chocolate chip shake, because the chips were pulverized flecks. Very delightful! This is my new MUST-stop in Bear Lake!
