I've had the opportunity to try both the pho spots in GC and both are pretty enjoyable. The pho was pretty comparable (Saigon's soup base may have been a bit more flavorful) but I enjoyed the dinning experience at pho hoa one better. The steak brisket and meatball pho had great flavor. What Annie L doesn't like about Pho Hoa One:
Paid $18 for a large beef stir fry which had five pieces of beef and was still hungry as a young female.. tiny portion sizes and high prices. Husband had the pho noodle bowl which tasted weird and had very little meat and noodle (was mostly water). We were so disappointed after reading so many good reviews! The total bill was $59 for six small egg rolls, 2 (small portions) fried rice, 1 pho soup, 1 beef noodles. View all feedback.
A staple in Garden City! Always great food coming every time we come in!
Love the food, service was little slow but still good. Strongly recommend this place.
I moved away from Garden several years ago, and I admit to driving 5 hours just for the egg rolls. Nowhere else is half as good!
I wish I would of taken pictures the food was present beautifully! Nice atmosphere, Amazing spring rolls, wonderful service! And the bún was just what I was craving. This was my first time spending multiple days in Garden City and I'm glad I found this family run restaurant it was one of the highlights of my trip! Also, be sure to try the homemade limeade, delicious!
