One of the employees came and asked if they could already take the empty plate and if the food is good. my husband said yes, compliments to the cook. he went on and said that the duck confit would be under the top 20 unforgettable dish for him. to this statement before he even order dessert, the lady turned her back, already this restaurant could be one of the places where you could not have good food or good service BUT both good food in fact!

We also enjoyed a... read more For Brunch at Mathús Garðabæjar today. Nice, reasonable price. She offered soup, fresh bread, appetizers, bacon, pancakes, meat and much more. We also enjoyed a really good cup of coffee with 5-6 different cakes. The food was good, but the service was even better. All employees seemed to be aware of their own initiative what they could do for their customers. We'll be back.

Overall, I and my friends are not really happy about our experience in the service of this restaurant.
