In Duitsland nu eens geen schnitzel, maar een Indiase maaltijd. En die beviel prima. Een thali, bestaand uit verschillende soorten vlees, groenten en raita. Uitstekend. Rijst werd aangevuld, een mango-likeur na afloop. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding prima. View all feedback.
What Éric Dijoux doesn't like about Moti Mahal:
I visited several times this restaurant with my daughter during lunch hours. The Mittagsmenu is ok for the price. But it is the same food quality you'd get in any Indian Restaurant in Munich for this budget. If you eat outside the lunch time, the...price would be above the food quality. Often the waiters confuse the orders. Last time I was there, the waiter asked me if I was Filipino To which I answered no with aston... View all feedback.
Went multiple times for lunch/ dinner. Food is very average. All curries taste the same. Most importantly the owners/ staff hates Indians and behaved so rudely to Indian customers. They are probably Bangladeshis using the Indian name to make business. I have stopped eating here.
Authentic Indish restaurant with the tastes known from India. Not so much power/heat but good tastes. Easy laid back athmosphere with good service. Central location next to U-bahn.
My Italian colleague wanted to try Indian food and had seen this restaurant while on his way to the hotel. I called the restaurant to reserve a seat which was professionally handled. The restaurant ambience is kept very traditional with bright Indian colors and Indian...music as a background. The server were professional and friendly. We ordered for a grill platter, chat, main course Lamb and Prawn dish. The grill selection, cook and taste were really nice although I was not impressed with the lamb especially due to a weird smell. Both the main course gravies seemed the same which I guess is common practice for a restaurant outside India. I was a bit surprised with the pricing strategy for the drinks especially was we wanted to have Gin tonic. The pricing of the spirit in its own was priced much expensive that a cocktail called Gin Tonic. I was told it was due to the pouring measure although it’s weird as for my drink I didn’t want a tonic but had no choice but to take it as it was part of the cocktail. Nevertheless my colleague enjoyed the food and I specially liked the appetizers. Surely a good offering both in terms of ambience and variety of choices. I was also pleasantly surprised impressed to see that it was run by Bangladeshi nationals.
I went for lunch at this hotel and ordered a veg thali but in veg thali they served meat LAMB, when i recognize it and asked the waiter over there he starts arguing and not accepting his fault. I am vegetarian guy and does not...eat meat at all but hotel staff was really **** and admant not accepting their fault.
We were a group of persons, who decided to have dinner without reservation at this restaurant. They were very friendly and prepared a large table for us. The food didn’t take long to arrive and was so yummy. We enjoyed the friendly service and...the good food. When we left, one of us lost his wallet with over Euro in the restaurant. We called and asked about the wallet. They found it and kept it for us. Nothing was missing. All the money was safe. Very honest and helpful staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
